Citizens and permanent residents of Sri Lanka can apply for the various scholarship programs listed in Australian government scholarship web site. Australian Scholarships offer educational and professional development awards to citizens of the Asia-Pacific region, including Sri Lanka. According to their web site, these opportunities support growth in the region and build enduring links at the individual, institutional and country levels.

I am Sisitha Ramachandra from Sri Lanka. I am at the age of 27 and completed BSc. degree (4 Years special degree) in Agricultural Technology & Management in September of 2010 with second class lower division (Final GPA – 3.15) from University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. My specialization area was Animal science and technology. I did my research project related to “Metabolic profile testing and Negative energy balance of high producing dairy cattles” in a leading dairy farm(Ambewela) in Sri Lanka. I published my research paper in the proceedings of the twentieth annual students research sessions Department of Animal Science, Faculty of Agriculture,University of Peradeniya,Sri Lanka.
